'When you wake up in the morning, Pooh,' said Piglet at last, 'what's the first thing you say to yourself?'
'What's for breakfast?' said Pooh. 'What do you say, Piglet?'
'I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?' said Piglet.
Pooh nodded thoughtfully. 'It's the same thing,' he said.
--A. A. Milne, 'The House at Pooh Corner'
awesome, awesome quote! I love Winnie the Pooh and I need to buy the real, A.A. Milne thing for my girls soon. At 2 and 1/2 I think Beth is getting old enough to appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that a great one? Levi has listened to the unabridged version on CD, but I need to get our book out and read it with him. There is something about sharing it, ya know? :)
ReplyDeleteHey! There's that shirt! :)
ReplyDeleteWill is wearing his right now (backwards, but, hey - if that makes him happy!).
I was just looking through your "on the menu" topic to print out a few recipes for the next few days. I'm sure your concocting some fabulous food. We made your Orange Cream Souffle for Thanksgiving and are going to make a raspberry version for tomorrow. Also I am hoping to try the Greek Walnut Pie since I'm such a huge fan of baklava.
Merry Christmas!
