We interrupt the parade of Christmas posts for this exciting announcement. Prince Caspian is possibly my favorite book in the Narnia series. Be still, my beating heart. I don't think I can wait until May. Watch the trailer!
Trish ~ Nice to 'see' ya! :)How are we going to wait?!
Country Girl~ I've read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe to Levi and he has listened to the rest of the series on CD. I absolutely *love* Focus on the Family's Radio Theater version. Levi loves them, too.
I would recommend reading LWW first. I think every child should first enter Narnia through the wardrobe. The Magician's Nephew was fun to read and get the aha! moments, but it isn't my favorite of the books, especially for younger kids.
Is there any better imaginary world than Narnia. We almost had a Narnia birthday party last year...until Star Wars won out. Bummer. But we loved the series. I can't WAIT for the movie.
I can't wait! Although, honestly, I was a smidge disappointed in Walden Media's LWW. I much preferred (even though the special effects were pretty cheesey) the BBC version.

Have you read the series to your boys? Do you suggest starting with The Magician's Nephew or The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe?
You know you are the smartest person I know, so help me out girlfriend!
WOOHOO! It's only been way too long of a wait. I'm going to revel in this news all evening.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.

I read these books as a child and fell in love. I could read the whole series over and over - and over again.
