We should allow no separation to grow up between the intellectual and 'spiritual' life of children; but should teach them that the devine Spirit has constant access to their spirits, and is their continual helper in all the interests, duties and joys of life.
Thanks for posting this. Looks like I'm going to pull that book back of my shelf!

This book is required reading before admission to our son's school. While a slow read for me, I loved the content. The Charlotte Mason philosophy is full of wisdom and insight, in my opinion. I have enjoyed Jaybird's school, as it has a combination of classical and Charlotte Mason. I love what the book says about nature studies, outdoor play and habits. Let us know more of what you think!
