Thanks, Donna! You are such an encourager. :) And an inspiration! I've enjoyed following *your* photography journey this past year.
Homeschooljourney~ Thank you! I have toyed with the idea of doing photography as a side business. Right now it would be hard to work a business around my little people, but I'll keep practicing and figure out more editing techniques so it will be a more realistic possibility in the near future! Thanks for the encouragement.
Beautiful pictures! What kind of camera do you use? I'm new to photography and just bought a Canon EOS Rebel GII film camera to practice on. Do you recommend any lenses?
Wendy~ Thank you! I'm pretty new to photography, myself. :) I use a Nikon D50. The only lense I've been using is an AF Nikkor 28-80mm, but I'd like to try some others. I wish I was really smart and could point you in the right direction, but...
Crissy~ Thanks! That means a lot coming from you! :) *Your* work is beautiful!
It seems they make an adapter to match Nikon lenses to Canon bodies, but unless someone wants to spend time investigating what lenses work, and which ones don't, the best thing is to purchase Canon Lenses for your camera.
Here is a review of lenses for the new photographer that people might find useful: http://www.bobatkins.com/photography/digital/10d300dlenses.html
He has other reviews as well that would be worthwile to read: http://www.bobatkins.com/photography/reviews/best_canon_eos_lenses.html He also links to another of his sites, where a more detailed review is given, including the specifications, for the lenses his readers like.
Giant leap in quality in this series :o)
ReplyDeleteYou're pictures are good enought to sell. Have you ever looked into it?
