A well-ordered life is like climbing a tower; the view halfway up is better than the view from the base, and it steadily becomes finer as the horizon expands. ~William Lyon Phelps
I've learned that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.
That makes me very woozy. When we were young marrieds, we used to climb and I'd break out in a sweat every time I looked down. Getting all weak-armed and kneed doesn't do much for climbing!
ReplyDeletewhere is that? if it's close enough we might go try it sometime...super cool!
ReplyDeleteSmallWorld~ Levi doesn't do really well with heights, either, so he could only go about half way up. Luke just needed some longer legs. :) I should have given it a try...
ReplyDeleteBella Art Girl~ Actually, it was rented for Russ's work picnic. Sure was fun to have it available for the kids (and adults :)). It seems like there should be one to try out somewhere near you. I wish now that I would have tried it!
Aww, I love the butt shot! My kids would love to do that!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I did that photoshoot and posted some of my favorites to my blog. What do you think? I told you I need tips. HAHA!!
Christina~ Your photo shoot turned out some amazing photos! I'll have to steal a few of your ideas. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that you all are reading Swallows and AMazons!!! That is Tucker and Lily's favorite read, it is huge in the UK. Fun times and also we just finished the Penderwicks...I knew we were kindred spirits!
