Escaping the 95 degree heat of the valley, we ventured into the mountains to my second favorite spot on earth (as opposed to my first). We couldn't have had a better day (75 degrees) for a full day of swimming, tubing, and hiking. Lovely. Perfect.
Wow, what a beautiful spot! We just moved to the Willamette Valley from Southern Oregon. My husband grew up there so he know all the great swimming holes. Here we've not been so lucky. Care to share you location? I promise not to tell anyone....:)
What an incredibly lovely water wonderland. I bet the boys completely LOVE it there. I like your first favorite place, too :-) It's clear that your boys are going to be blessed with a very special childhood...
Beautiful. It looks a little like Onteonta Gorge. When I was little, my family would go up there every summer to escape the heat in our (un-air conditioned) house.
Heidi...I found a fun site you might enjoy. It's all about vocabulary and for every right answer you get, 100 grains of rice get donated to feed the poor in a third world country. You can access the site by clicking on the rice logo on the top of my blog. I guarantee that there will be some words you have never run across before! :) Be careful, it is addicting...lol!

Amy~ There are several campgrounds off of Hwy 20 east of Lebanon/Sweet Home area. We love heading up there every summer!
