They match!! Love that quilt!! I had an idea for your candles. It came to me while looking at a Christmas magazine the other day. Christmas?!?! I know... Anyway, I thought I would make them into Advent candles with lavender and pink papers wrapped around the jars. Prettier, safer, and easier to find, in my opinion. Do you mind if I add you to my favorites?? Thanks!! Elise
Hey Heidi!!! I like this post alot! I was wondering....for your circle collage....how did you apply the cicles?? Moge Podge??? I am looking, but am not finding the applyung process. I cant wait to have mine done tonight. I love it and cant wait to Mt. Hope my wall and table with the cordinating candle.
Hi Heidi, We won't be making the trip this Friday like we hoped. I do hope to get up there one more time before you close. We decided that we both needed to not spend the extra money in a sitter/gas/ and any goodies we might purchase. Boo Hoo! Also, I love that blue on your walls. What color is it? Susan
Plain ol' glue stick it was! Thanks sooooooo much. I posted a pic on my blog and am still working on a candle. My friend Kyley made me one and it was so cute. I cant wait.
Oh yum... the peaches AND the colors! Those are the same colors in the curtains and bedspread I sewed my daughter last spring. Aren't they are so inviting, and relaxing?
Susan~ I'll miss seeing you tomorrow, but maybe it will work out another day. If not, we'll just have to plan a separate get-together. Maybe I'll make it down to Eugene one of these days! The color on my bedroom wall is Celery by Ralph Lauren. Love it!!
I'm so jealous that you have peaches already! Here in MI we still have a few weeks to wait. Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful... I LOVE the colors of the quilt and the bowl of ice cream and peaches... Perfection!

ReplyDeleteTearz~ Unfortunately I cheated. They weren't local peaches. But they sure were delicious!! :)
ReplyDeleteJen~ Thanks! I loved the way the colors went together also!
Elise~ The candles would make excellent Advent candles. Thanks for the idea! I don't mind at all if you add me to your favorites.
Lacy~ I used plain ol' glue stick. Pretty fancy, eh? :) I want to see pictures where you're done!
