The Artist?

ISFP - The Artists
The gentle and compassionate type. They are especially attuned their inner values and what other people need. They are not friends of many words and tend to take the worries of the world on their shoulders. They tend to follow the path of least resistance and have to look out not to be taken advantage of.

They often prefer working quietly, behind the scene as a part of a team. They tend to value their friends and family above what they do for a living.

The above is my blog personality type according to Typealizer.com.

Very, very interesting. I've talked about personality types before. I can't get enough of personality type talk. In real life (as opposed to blog life, I suppose), I am an ISFJ. I can't say I am at all surprised that my blog came up as an Artist personality, which is only one letter off. The 'J' in my life (the getting things accomplished part) has been in hiding lately. (For instance, I am practicing creative procrastination at this very moment.)

Here is a link to a free online personality test if you haven't found out your personality type and are interested in doing so. Here is my favorite site with explanations of the 16 personality types.

  1. Interesting. I`m INFP and scored Doer (ESTP) on my business blog, and Performer (ESFP) on my personal blog. :)

  2. What a hoot! It pegged me as an ESFP. In real life, I'm an ISTJ. Hmmm, perhaps I don't use enough words in my blog for an accurate reading and it doesn't know how to interpret my pics?!? ;-)

  4. Wow, the artist! How fun and appropriate! I tried it and was dubbed "the entertainer". I love personality type "talk", too. I am a ENFJ. My husband is a INFP. We make an interesting pair!

  5. I an INFJ in real life. I took the test when I was in 6th grade and was interested to find I am still the same type. However, my blog is an ESFP, the entertainer. At least the feeling part is still the same. I find that really interesting.

  6. Hmmm, interesting. I got ESFP, "The Performers". There are aspects of that description that fit, but certainly not the "performer" part. I'm actually an INFJ, which is often described as the counselor type. I am certainly more I than E! However, I do think I'm able to be much more open in cyberspace than in real life. Blogging helps me to verbalize thoughts and feelings I would never *talk* about or at least not with many people. I am an introvert who often longs to be an extrovert. I think that is what shows up in this test.
