great pics! I love the pretend play. I'm sure that they had just as much fun on this ride as they did at Disney! It's ALWAYS the non-toys that are the bestest (please excuse my grammer) fun!

So delightful!!

When is it that we cross that line from incredible imagination to a brain filled with things that have do? Boring being an adult.

I love it. My girls and I are studying ancient Egypt and have been dancing all morning to Steve Martin's you tube version of King TUT! Homeschooling is where it's at! Love your blog.

Love this!!! Love their imagination. Love that you captured it. Love the bright light. Love the colors.

Now, fess up: did you coordinate their clothing to each other and the awesome retro chairs BEFORE you let them loose with their imagination?!? ;-)

Em~ You summed it up for me. When do we cross that line?! I know a few adults who manage to keep an amazing child-like enthusiasm and imagination, but I'm not one of them. This blog helps me, though, see those moments differently.

Skeller~ Believe it or not, I had nothing *absolutely nothing* to do with this set-up. I can't always claim that, but somethings I don't have the ability to dream up. :)

Hey, did you see that we're both nominated for best artistic content blog at the homeschool blogger awards? I have no hope of winning with the stiff competition in that catagory (and I know for whom I am voting :)), but it sure is fun to be up there with such great artistic women!

Jodi~ Yes, email me and let me know how things are progressing!

Simple Mom is so kind to link me here and there. I love her blog!

Love the look on Leif`s face in that second to last photo! :)

Isn`t it so fun to see what kids come up with? My boys push the armchairs together to make a bus or a train and have a great time traveling around.

Isn't that so funny?? I did see that this morning when I popped over there to see why I was getting "hits" from that link. And then later Darcy emailed that we were both in that category (and said it wasn't surprising because we were "2 peas in a pod" ;-). And I know who I'm voting for, so we'll just cancel each other's vote!! (bhg!)

how precious!! are they simple immune to the presence of a camera? it's as if you weren't even there and a slice of life was simply taken from your kitchen... undisturbed! beautifully enacted!!

ps i hope you win that award chica!!

This one reminds me of all the "spaceships" my kids make with overturned chairs in the living room - they've even covered them in tin foil! I love those photos -they'd be cute in the boys bedrooms. ~Tera
