Check out the tough gang that came a visitin' in our neck of the woods! Fierce.
We've had many deer (8 or more) hanging out in the yard on a regular basis, but 17 turkeys?! I think I ruffled a few feathers.
The three musketeers branched out on their own. They were much too good for the rest of the gang. Even turkeys have cliques. Clucks? Gobbles? Waddles?
From Tera: Happy New Year Heidi! Your turkeys are hilarious. Reminded me of when I was in the
ReplyDelete6th grade and I walked home from school... (we lived in the suburbs of Portland out in the country), and found a giant BUFFALO in my front yard! He escaped from somewhere...we have pictures of him too :)
Are they wild or did they escape from a farm? To bad they didn't show up a week ago!
ReplyDeleteSpumommy~ I believe they are wild. We've seen them around for quite a while down the road, but never up by our house. It used to be an adult or two with a long string of babies walking behind... they've grown!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA! THAT was a fun moment to open your blog and see your wild neighbors! Thanks for making me laugh. Happy Birthday to Mr. Levi!
ReplyDeleteMichelle
Now that's funny! :)
ReplyDeleteAren't they wriley looking fellows? We have them on our "neighborhood" too. Although, I can't say we've ever seen so many. usually only 6-8 in a, ummm... gaggle? at a time.
ReplyDeleteThey are scrany and kind of vulture-looking closer to me. Not fat and plump like the cards or commercials. :)
what fantastic shots!
