Mom Update

I know a few of you are waiting for an update on my mom. (Hi, mom, I know you'll be thrilled that I'm talking about you on my blog...)

The surgery went well, although more involved than originally anticipated. She's already home and settled in for a quiet recovery. It will be a low-key Christmas this year, but sometimes that is 'just what the doctor ordered', even for those who didn't have surgery. Grin.
