I've loved reading the questions you have for me. Feel free to add questions to this post or the previous post if you haven't yet had a chance. I'll be going through them and answering them a few at a time this month.

I love that map book!
what has been your favorite curriculum so far?
How much time to you spend planning at the beginning of a school year, and how much planning to you do each week/month?
I think the map book is great too! We have one for the wall, but a smaller one would be nice to have as well!
I'm so excited about the map book, too! It is actually a flip chart that stands on its own. I found it at a bargain book store for just a few dollars!! Wall maps are great, but they are really hard for us to use effectively, and this is going to be great. I'll talk more about how we're using it when I get to a post about geography.

I have a few large wall maps my mom found in a clearance bin - I think she spent $1 on each one. But there aren't up because they are so big. So I'll be on the look put for one like that. We have our globe, but that seems easier.
Thanks for stopping by. Maybe we can get Mr Mays to do a complete curriculum for us & the other verbal learners. I think my life would be sooo much easier.
If I could stand to listen to it ???
Have you potty trained Leif yet? If so, how with homeschooling? I have to start with Lydie right away and we do not have time to just stop school while I am at it. YIKES!! I need to just "put on my big girl panties" and dive in! (grin)
We have the same flip chart map and I love to take it to wherever we are working. We also have one of the human body getting much attention right now due to the summer arrival of another little one (reproduction and preg.). The boys love looking through these books at reading time at night as well!
