Let's Finish Up the Tour

Shall we? The Bellagio water fountain show is spectacular at night.

A view at Caesar's Palace on the walk back to our hotel:
The same view the next morning:
Finally, we visit Rome. Well, Caesar's Palace.
I was ecstatic to meet up with my favorite sculpture!!
Maybe not quite as stunning as she is at the top of a lonely, magnificent staircase at the Louvre, but gorgeous, all the same.

A mosaic masterpiece inside the casino:
Heading next door to the Bellagio to watch the fountains in daylight:
Blue skies and bright sunlight. What a way to end our romantic get-away!
This concludes our Around the World tour. Thanks for joining me!

  1. That's my favorite statue too!! I have been in love with her ever since I laid eyes on her in a college art history class :)

  2. Amazing you posted this just today. I had a dear friend-- just last night- share her pictures from Vegas just two weeks ago. She had her hubby stand if front of your revered sculpture/statue and took a low angle and had the wings perched on her hubby. He regrets being pulled into that ploy. But I was sure you could appreciate the idea... especially with little men running around you... and the blessed statue perched in your own home.

I MUST say, after seeing your trip around Vegas I am game for taking my own little trip just for sake of this beautiful inspiration you have shared. No one can say now, that Vegas is COMPLETELY void of culture and classic character. Right? You have managed to capture the beauty without the beasts of Vegas.

I need to email you to talk more about some of these things... k k!

  3. Gorgeous pictures! My husband proposed to me in front of the Bellagio fountains as they were going off so that holds a special place in my heart.

  4. I love Winged Glory! And she is magnificent at the Louvre, but she's looking pretty good here, too!:)
Your tour of Vegas has been great! It's made me want to actually visit there. Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful photos!

  6. Aja~ Funny you would mention capturing the beauties and leaving out the beasts of LV. I will be mentioning that in a post this next week. :) I'm glad we visited, but I don't think we'll do so again, certainly not with our children....
