$ .99 each at Goodwill. I love that place.
And then I loaded a huge bag full of books and science/geography DVDs at the library.
I'm feeling book-rich. Isn't that the best?!
(I'm working on the final portion of my elementary book list. Will get it posted ASAP.)
What a great haul @ the Goodwill store! I love to find good used books, too. And we do love those dvds at the library also.
ReplyDeleteWhen we lived in San Antonio, TX and near Olympia, WA, they both had WONDERFUL Goodwill stores for books - really cheap and usually of pretty good quality. I really stocked up while we were there.
ReplyDeleteHere in Fairbanks, we don't have a Goodwill. Value Village just isn't quite the same :(
Wow. You got some great deals.
ReplyDeleteI can NOT believe you found all those titles at one place at one time!!!! I am happy if I find just ONE of those titles/authors in a stop... I have most of the books there, but if I didn't I would be DROOLING and green with envy!!! so excited for you, used book finds are sort of like stumbling upon an old friend you haven't seen in a long time, delicious.
ReplyDeleteYou had me at the display of books! Then I saw that you found them at a bargain....woo hoo. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteHow fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the Book-a-holic Club with you! Only I don't get to feed my addiction all that much. My dream home will have one huge room with floor to ceiling bookshelves and huge windows...sigh.
ReplyDeleteThere are never enough bookshelves or baskets to hold all the books! We love the goodwill too, you got some great ones!
ReplyDeleteI am also a Book-a-holic! Enjoy all the reading : )
ReplyDeleteWe found a HUGE book about the ocean for 1.99, awesome. I love the thrift store.
ReplyDeleteYes! That is the best! :)
ReplyDeleteI love book shopping at Goodwill, that's always my first stop.
Oh, Heidi-- what a treasure!! My sister-in-law has been raving about her recent finds at "Goodies..." I think you've just made me a believer! Enjoy~
ReplyDeleteThose are some great buys! We loved The Timewarp Trio and the Elmer and the Dragon series. Don't you love a good buy? So gratifying!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE books but am not a collector at all. I read it and then put it up at paperback swap or pass it on or something. I think I've only kept about 5 books in all my life that I wanted to save. I also can not REread a book because I already read it and know how it goes. Is that weird? LOL
ReplyDeleteHeidi, I love your blog and I just gave you some awards on my blog. Come by and check it out if you can : ) Blessings to you~
ReplyDeleteoooooo,I'M THE SAME WAY! I can't say no to books. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteOh how I LOVE children's books. It's an addiction really. And look at all those lovely Enid Blyton books you found! I love her. My son wants to read The Wishing Chair stories EVERY night. We've read them all dozens of times. He's a bit young for the Famous Five, but one day.
ReplyDeleteThere is a thrift store I always hit for used books and this is making me want to go....I need a fix!
