Oh my word...Heidi! That is stunning. I love the lip creases especially. You should see all the ridiculous pics I tried to take of myself for a facebook profile pic! How in the world did you pull that off? You are amazing and completely gorgeous. ~Tera
Very beautiful. I found it very difficult to get a comfortable and flattering pose while holding the camera. Your is great. Nice processing. Well done.
I particularly love this entry -- so striking and soulful. I'd love to know how you shot this photograph and what (if any) edits you made to it. I really like the feel of this photograph.
Wow.. that is breathtaking! The eyes, the coloring, the angle.. just beautiful. Really. There are TOO many beautiful people at I Heart Faces... I'm just amazed.
I edited this photo a couple weeks ago, and worked on it a while. I didn't keep track of the edits, so I have no clue, LOL. I used both photoshop CS2 and picnik. When I took the photo, I was leaning against a brick wall (overcast day), and held the camera slightly up from my face with just my right hand. I took so many photos to get this one, and came very close to dropping my camera more than once. ;-) Thanks for all the kind words, everyone!!
Oh, I love the processing of this, the high contrast, the appropriately blown out skin, the emphasis on your eyes. Amazing that this is a self portrait! (Thanks for your comment on the judge side. Looking back, it seems like I wasted so much time trying not to be me. If I can help someone avoid that waste of time, I will feel very good about myself now!)
Heidi - incredible! You are beautiful. I so much enjoy your blog. You picked an amazing quote by the way. I'd love to hear your secrets to finding those.
What an amazing photo! Then again it's the amazing person in the photo that makes it so. I agree with what everyone else has been stating....love your eyes.
What a beautiful picture. I'm interested in seeign what appears at I heart faces, too.
