Spring Faces

Leif & Lamb


With Easter chocolates on his face and his arms around a lamb, Leif melts my heart.


We had a fabulous Easter celebration at a friend's farm. More pictures to come, but for now I'm entering Leif and Lamb in this week's i heart faces competition. Check it out for more Easter and Spring themed photos.

    Susan~ Ack! You would ask me that! Maybe now is a good time to ask *you* how on earth you keep track of your recipes for photos that you edit? My best guess: PW's define and sharpen, (eyes) sharpen this and bring on the eyes, TRA's yin/yang to brighten one side of his face, pool party (40%?), claire-ify (30%?), smooth-o-matic. That seems to be my basic recipe lately. Sometimes I use PW's boost or TRA's oh, snap! to start with, and I play around with the opacity for pool party and claire-ify.

    This is a perfect spring picture! It's fun because it's unique from many of the Easter photos out there, but still speaks of Easter with the lamb and chocolates. Great capture!

    This image jumps right off the screen. The sharp focus on the sheep's curly wool, the great composition and the color saturation all make for a wonderful image!

    Isn't it interesting how totally different Pool Party looks depending on the image it's being used on?
    I must admit, I don't keep track of my edits unless I'm using them for the post (like the Fix It Friday stuff). I do, however, keep a casual pen & ink list of general recipes I've liked the outcome of (either ones I've done, or ones others have done).
