Lilacs are one of my favorite flowers...their smell is so lovely! I grew up in Spokane, WA (the Lilac City!) and miss seeing them pop up all around the city. Many years ago a co-worker of mine would take a walk each day at lunch and would often bring me a small bunch of lilacs to put on my desk! It always brightened my day!
Just seeing these pictures brightened my day! Thanks! I kinda needed it. :)
Lovely incarnate. Right here on your blog. I love your theme this year!!!
And all your recent pictures ... I don't quite know how to put it ... but they just speak to my soul. You're really truly capturing beauty in your images.
Honestly, it's just thrilling watching you stretch and grow as a photographer.
Mmmm...I can just smell them! Lovely! :)

Now I'm imagining all the buds opening with little popcorn noises, haha!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any blossoms yet, but we're close! And that certainly didn't stop me from taking pictures of them anyway. :)
Lilacs are one of my most favorite ever! I used them for my wedding bouquet seven years ago this coming Sunday. May is wonderful time for flowers!
ReplyDeleteAww, I love love love lilacs! I had some on my desk last week and it made my office smell divine! :)

LOVE these lilacs! Mine are soon to pop, too, then we'll enjoy fragrant bunches in the house!!!
