I decided to let my kids in on this 'lovely list' exercise.
We talked about things they love,
and I wrote out a list for them on their chalkboard.
Now we all have lovely lists!
Wait, Russ hasn't made one yet...
We'll put him to work when he gets home. Grin.
Love the photo collage. Where did you get it printed? Is it mounted or framed? Can't quite tell . . .
ReplyDeleteDanielle~ I wrote details about the photo collage in the previous post. Sorry I didn't make that clear! The poster was printed at Costco. I just tacked it onto a framed corkboard (the cork is covered with black paper...I've thought about painting the cork black but haven't gotten around to it). It will be very simple to switch out various posters this way!
ReplyDeleteit looks great!
ReplyDeleteHi Heidi,
ReplyDeleteIt's Cherie (from the library and 4th of July :))
So, ya gotta tell me how you did the poster?? Did you have it printed or have the squares printed and put it together on your own?
Love it!!
Hi, Cherie!
ReplyDeleteI made the collage at picnik.com and uploaded the file to costco.com. I ordered the 20x30 poster size for 8.99. The collage file wasn't high quality, so the poster came out a bit pixelized, which I expected. I also ordered a smaller size (8x12) which looked much better.
Ooops, sorry, I didn't see that on the previous post! That's a great deal at Costco if you want something seasonal that you can change out!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the poster. Hmmm....where could I put one? :) It wouldn't be the first thing in my house inspired by your blog, that's for sure!! (mantel, silhouettes, lovely list collage...)
ReplyDeleteHeidi,
ReplyDeleteThanks!
It looked like a Picnik collage. :)

Heidi- I really loved the idea of creating this list that I have an evite out to all my girlfriends and I am hosting a lovely lis party. Each girl is to bring their canvas with them and we are going to paint our canvas together! I can't wait, it is going to be so much fun. Thank you so much for the idea. It is so simple yet so wonderful.
