wow. those kinds of stunning & serene vistas kinda make that whole morning + exercise equation a little more palatable, don't they?

AI last night. ugh. m'girl let me down - too much screeching. Casey's stuff was boring and unmemorable. And Lee was just plain pimped for the win - the lights, the gospel choir, the words of acclaim, even before he began ... :-(

Thanks for taking us along on this walk through the country. I was a country girl (in the Pacific Northwest too) but now live in a big city in the Midwest. Oh how I long for those simple sights and smells too. It was refreshing to my soul to see these sights via your blog and cyberspace! Thanks Heidi!

I think I'd walk forever if I had that view! Beautiful pictures, and such beautiful morning light. Thanks for sharing!

I recognize one of those views...well at least. I love that grove of trees with the red round barn! (Its one of my lazy pictures when the sky is doing something cool, all I have to do is stand on my back porch!) Don't you just love where we live?!!
I need to get back out there!

Bethany~ You should recognize a few of those pictures. :) We think of you when we walk by your house these days. (Loving the light!!!) I don't know how much longer I'm going to last with walking...I hope to go another couple months, though. Then it might be next January before we start up again. I have no idea what Shannon's going to do....

I'm so jealous. Between the number of books you read and the beautiful walks you photograph, I really feel like something is missing from my life. Ah well. My little ones will only be little once, and hopefully I won't live in Alaska forever....
