Saturday Seven ~ Week 19

::Walked only 3 mornings. What a slacker.

::Savored The Elegance of the Hedgehog.

::Had 53 people (okay, slight exaggeration) ask if we knew yet whether we are having a boy or girl... even the ladies at the dentist office and the lady working at the pizza place at the mall (she has been there since Levi was a baby and the boys know her by name). Sigh. NOT YET. And, no, we aren't holding our breath for a girl.

::Read interesting commentary. "But when it comes to being pro-choice, the one choice you're not allowed to make is an informed one."

::Had my first family photo session of the year. Felt a bit rusty.

::Craved banana splits. And caved. More than once.

How was your week?

Enjoy when you can, and endure when you must.

  1. I'm so glad you shared that you don't know what you are having because I was thinking about you this week and wondering...but I didn't want to ask.

The movie, Persuasion, looks like a good one. As You Like It recently arrived at our home from Netflix. We still need to watch it.

  2. Enjoyed Cranford for the 1st time, via netflix dvd's at home. Must say... I'm hooked. I also watched recently Wives & Daughter's again, so perhaps I'll have to venture over to the new BBC Persuasion... I'm a huge J Austen fan, especailly the Colin Firth version of p&p.
Hope you are feeling healthy in this pregnancy- many congrats !

  3. You know I always pop in to comment whenever you post anything about BBC and Masterpiece Theater.

Persuasion is one of my very favorites. Have you seen the new Emma? That might have edged out Persuasion for the top spot.

I just got the Kate Beckinsale version of Emma in the mail today. I can't wait to watch it tomorrow.

  6. Laura~ Cranford is the next book on our book club schedule, so I've been waiting to watch the movie until after I've read the book...Can't wait! And P&P with Colin Firth is still my absolute favorite, though North & South (written by the author of Wives & Daughters) is a very close second.

Lindsey~ And I always enjoy 'seeing' you here. :) I think I actually prefer the Kate B. version of Emma to the new one. Love it! And the old Persuasion. And the new one. And.... I even like the Hollywood versions of Emma and P&P. I'm really not picky. :)
