Summer Reading

A morning trip to the library and an afternoon of reading on the lawn.
In 75 degree weather. Lovely.

  2. Very jealous here!
We made a tent in the air conditioned living room to read and play games in. If we read outside, we would warp all of the pages with our sweat. gross.

  5. PERFECT way to spend a day ...

got a new series for your boys that Middle Dude and I are reading:
Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins. Yup, of Hunger Games fame. Earliest book published. Same adventure vibe, same heroic feats throughout, but for a younger crowd.

  6. Very nice! So glad you could enjoy a day like this! Isn't it especially sweet after all the rain. I think summer feels uniquely refreshing this year since it was so long in getting here.
