North of Depoe Bay, little hitch in the side of the road called Boiler Bay. (Just North of the Boiler Bay wayside, titled that because you look down into Boiler Bay while you are in the wayside, but you can't get to the "beach" from the wayside - cliffs are too high)
You will of course want to check out the tide schedule and time your arrival a while before low tide so that you can get the maximum time in the tide pools.
Thanks (Russ? :)) for answering that since I didn't know. ;)
There is another beautiful little beach that has similar atmosphere but more beach on which to play. It is another hitch in the side of the road south of Beverly Beach. It is secluded and rarely busy. And the hike down is less treacherous than at Boiler Bay.
Stunning photos. We spent a week in lincoln city and didn't have nearly the clear weather. Was this on saturday? we were in Florence on saturday and it was just beautiful. Posted my sweet shots of the day too.
What beach are those photos at? We live kind of near you in Oregon and are always looking for beautiful beaches to daytrip to.
