I absolutely LOVE seeing your table setting pictures. What fun to have family that creates spaces like that for meals...my family is all about throw-away settings. White, boring, practical, ugly. Longing for more of the pretty and re-useable in my life. Maybe I'll start doing it for Sadie and me! And then someday invite you and Lola for tea!!!
Kiley~ Lola and I would LOVE to come to tea. :) Yes, I adore that my whole family goes that extra mile to make holiday meals in particular very lovely!
Fun pictures of Lola! Very inspiring; I'll have to try some shots like that. The chair is the one place Elsa doesn't run away! She just discovered the little chairs, and she loves them!
I love the pretty dishes! No one wants to wash 100 plates at our family get-togethers, so it's all disposable, but we always do real plates at home.
All of that green behind your boys is so entrancing. I wish we could come up to Oregon and enjoy your spring! I already have a list of places I want to see (most of them are flower-nurseries!)
I always pop on over when I'm needing some loveliness :)
Also I was wondering what you are doing for school for Levi for the next grade. I have been planning all of ours and I thought about what you would have; I always love your reading suggestions.

I don't have much in the way of book lists, yet. I will be using the book lists in The Story of the World activity guide for history, and the literature lists in The Well-Trained Mind (Early Modern-Modern Times).
hi heidi....such beautiful photos of a beautiful time of year. and i always love it when daddys and their little girls have matching clothes. too sweet!
Grandpa has said all day long that I must get to your blog to see the great pictures. They are adorable!!! Wish we could have been there. Can't wait to get my hands on that cute little girl and visit with the boys. Grandma
Beautiful pictures, Heidi! I especially love the range of Leif's expressions that you captured.

Your family is just beautiful! And I love how your dinner table is a celebration in itself -- your dishes are lovely -- where did you get them?
ReplyDeleteLOVE the new header.
ReplyDeleteYour boys are so cute!
And the dress on Lola? Oh my goodness! How sweet!
Lindsey~ The dishes are my mom's antique Spode. Aren't they fabulous? :)
