Uploading photos without any editing, and without feeling obligated to share a bunch of commentary, was liberating (and fast!) yesterday. I think I'll try it again today.
Only the beginning, people. Only the beginning.

(This is a boy who hates to write. But he loves All About Spelling, his writing has improved by leaps and bounds this past year, and he is so proud of himself!!)
His handwriting it is so NEAT! Wow, very impressive!! So be honest, how teacher intensive IS AAS?!? Happy Thanksgiving, kim.
ReplyDeleteSuch cute pictures! The handwriting is great! Your kids are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that HWT had paper like that. I will have to keep that in mind. Great job on the writing!!
ReplyDeleteKim~ Well, none of AAS is done independently. It is all instructor-led. I'd say about 15-20 minutes a day, 3-4 days a week, but that is flexible. Depends on how quickly you want to progress. I like the fact that we are working on handwriting (since I am right there to guide) and dictation (full sentences) at the same time.
ReplyDeleteTerri~ Yes, HWT has plain notebook paper available for each grade level. We use it for all our writing!
The fireplace pictures are too cute! What pretty decor too.
ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about All About Spelling. Glad he's gaining confidence with it. That's always a good thing!
