I am excited to announce the release of a new ebook: You Can Do It Too! –25 Homeschool Families Share Their Stories.
“Born out of my own homeschool curiosities and challenges I decided to put together a book including interviews with a whole group of amazing homeschool moms. I needed this book, but in order to convince them to answer all my questions I figured I would share it with you too.” ~Lorilee Lippincott
Not sure you could homeschool? This book is for you!
Afraid you don’t have the education or patience? This book is for you!
Curious about what it looks like day-to-day? This book is for you!
Overwhelmed by homeschool options? This book is for you!
You Can Do It Too! is a series of interviews with 25 homeschool families answering questions of ‘Why do you homeschool?’ ‘What does it look like?’ ‘How do you find what to teach? ‘What do your kids think?’ and much more. Our goal is to share with you the how’s and why’s – the successes and failures.
You can read more about the contributors here. I am thrilled to be one of them! But you will also find interviews with Stephanie Langford of Keeper of the Home, Carisa of 1+1+1=1, Mandi Ehman of Life Your Way, Lee Binz of The HomeScholar, and many more!
The ebook is available at the above affiliate link for $9.99, which includes both the PDF and Kindle files. This is a huge book with a total of more than 250 pages!
To celebrate the release I am giving away an electronic copy of the book to three lucky winners! To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment on this post. The giveaway ends Monday the 27th at midnight. I’ll announce the winners sometime Tuesday the 28th.
The giveaway is now closed.
“Ever wondered what it is really like to homeschool? Twenty-six families share the good, the bad, and the not-so-pretty things that can make up a homeschool lifestyle. Grab a cup of coffee and “chat” with these homeschool moms as you read the pages of this book. If you’re looking for picture perfect, you won’t find that here. What you will find are homeschool moms who honestly share the ups and downs of the homeschool life. Discover their joys, experiences, concerns, and why they don’t quit. Whether you’re a newbie, a veteran homeschooler, or somewhere in between, you’ll enjoy these candid looks at homeschooling.” ~Gena Suarez, Publisher, The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, LLC
I would love a copy of this!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Heidi,
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be entered! August 28th is my birthday so what a nice gift it would make. There's an older book that I've always loved called A Patchwork of Days which is 30 families that homeschool and what their days are like. It has always been a favorite of mine. I love to reread it! But this sounds so good.
Thanks! Have a great day!
Tammy
Thanks for the opportunity - I have been eyeing this since it came out.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy hearing different people's perspectives and "normal.". It makes homeschooling seem more doable.
ReplyDeleteI would love to read this :) Thanks for the giveaway! ~Connie

ReplyDeleteSounds like a great book! I would love to have a copy!
ReplyDeleteSo, I guess if I win the give-away, I'll have to consider home-schooling again after pretty much deciding that I would go nuts if I tried . . . .
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading it!
