[Finally. It’s been a busy two weeks. I’ll post more in an update tomorrow.]
Yes, we awoke to snow on our last morning of outdoor camp. Snow, and rain.
After a hearty breakfast of potatoes and pancakes, morning chores, packing, and preparing sack lunches, we gathered to head out on the hike back to the trailhead.
We were soaked by the time we reached our truck, and we felt sorry for the new school group heading in. At least we had a lovely, leisurely hike on the first day!
I was so glad we went. And so glad it was over.
