I always hesitate to recommend movies, even more so than books, because I know that the viewing experience is so subjective. For me, it depends on my mood, my place in life, and various other factors. Often, I can’t even say why I liked or disliked a movie, and maybe I would have a different impression at a different time. Yet here I am, feeling the need to recommend three movies.
Dear Frankie is one of my all-time favorites. Martian Child surprised me. August Rush makes Russ cry and tingles go up my spine. So, there you have it. Three movies. About three young boys with challenges in their lives and adults with the gift of meeting them at their need.
